Back to school with a cool lunch set

Today starts the last week of the vacations for the region middle. Also my little man has one more week off and then he really has to ‘go back to school’. He's not very motivated yet, but I hope to get him crazy enough to promise him a nice bento lunch in his new classroom lunch set.

It might ease the pain of getting out of bed on time, not playing outside all day and being back in line in class.

Back to School

It sounds so dramatic; easing the pain. But I'm afraid this will be a bit of a thread next week. He turned four in June, had a few weeks of school and then immediately had six weeks off. It will not be easy to get him used to school and enjoy going to school again. As much as he likes it, he finds it quite exciting.

The whole day (read; continuous schedule) without your mother and sister and then also in a busy classroom. However, I know I pick up a happy little boy every day so it will be pretty good this year too.

Then of course it is extra nice that I can spoil him with a nice lunch set. Rosti Mepal allowed me to choose a nice set. Or well, of course I let my little man make the choice. That wasn't easy because besides the great set he chose, he actually saw at least three lunch sets that made him happy. After a lot of scrolling back and forth, his choice fell on the new Disney Cars World Grand Prix lunch box and accompanying pop-up water bottle.

We also found a nice fruit box that fits exactly in the lunch box. Super handy for the bento lunches I often make.

The pop-up drinking cup was immediately put to use as a water bottle by the edge of his bed. Super convenient because this cup is leak proof and you can even hang it on your bag or pants with the clip that comes with it. The lunch box and the fruit box are eagerly waiting to be filled.

One more week to go.. then mommy hangs out the flag!
